We hand make our Bokashi + Kelp on our farm, by inoculating locally sourced wheat bran with EM (Effective Microorganisms). Our Bokashi is then dried and mixed with our Kelp meal and hand packaged for storage.
Bokashi + Kelp work together to add life into your soil. The effective microorganisms in the Bokashi, help increase the microbial diversity of your soil. These beneficial microorganisms ferment and decompose organic matter, providing usable nutrients and minerals for plant roots. Kelp meal is loaded with bioavailable micronutrients that your plant roots can easily absorb. This will help with plant growth, larger crops, better disease and pest resistance, overall, a healthier plant.
Here at the Farm, we use Bokashi + Kelp in a couple of different ways.
