These are productive plants and grow 3 to 8 feet tall, depending on the variety.
Transplanting
When transplanting tomato seedlings, you should space them 24 to 36 inches apart, depending on the variety and whether you’re growing them in a pot or in the ground.
In the ground
- Space plants 24 to 36 inches apart
- Space rows 36 to 48 inches apart
- Dig a hole deep enough to cover the root ball and 1-2 inches of stem
